Day 3: What's Next?: Link & Distil
Shaping Digital Futures with a day full of collaboration, hidden insights, research and networking in an inspiring environment
Further updates will be added below before the Summit
**Participation of this day is included in the conference registration fee on a first come/first serve basis: As spaces are limited and for planning purposes, a separate ticket will be required to participate in our trip to the Teeling Distillery. Those entry tickets can be collected for free at our Registration Desk during Day 1 and Day 2 at the IVI Summit. There is no guarantee of availability.**
In the morning we begin the day with a networking breakfast in the historic Pugin Hall at Maynooth University Campus with a short presentation on some of IVI Hidden Research Insights and the opportunity to meet our Research Experts.
The presentations and discussions are followed by a short historic tour at the south campus (revealing some of the hidden secrets) and further networking opportunities. Following the photo opportunity we will delve into the key take aways from this year’s summit and capture some of the major insights, before the guided journey through the rich history of Maynooth’s south campus — from its Georgian origins at Stoyte House in 1795 to the striking Gothic architecture of Pugin’s St Patrick’s. The tour includes the College Chapel, home to what are said to be the largest choir stalls in the world, along with other hidden gems across the grounds. The morning concludes with a visit to the Russell Library, where history meets innovation.
Then we head into the heart of Dublin to the Teeling Distillery in Dublin, where we have light lunch and continue the discussion on the Future of Digital & Innovation with three inspiring talks.
During the visit we immerse ourselves in the art of Irish whiskey-making and some hidden secrets of whisky-making through a guided distillery tour and tasting.
Finally, we return to Maynooth by bus, bringing our journey full circle. Of course you may chose to stay in Dublin, if you wish.
