IVI’s long-term collaborator Professor Piero Formica has been confirmed as Maynooth University’s newest Distinguished International Collaborator. Prof. Formica’s inaugural lecture will be held at 4:30 on 2nd December in the University’s historic Renehan Hall. Prof. Formica will speak on “Humanities and Sciences: A Golden Embrace.”

Prof. Formica’s extensive list of publications includes, most recently, Economic Humanism: An Imperfect Utopia Where Homo Solidalis Lands (2025), Human Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence: Exhibition at the Mind Gallery (2024), Sciencepreneurship: Science, Entrepreneurship and Growth and One Health: Transformative Enterprises, Wellbeing and Education in the Knowledge Economy (both 2023), and Sustainable Economic Ideators: Their Words and Voices (2022).
