VigiTrust is an award-winning provider of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) SaaS solutions to clients in 120 countries in the hospitality, retail, transportation, higher education, government, healthcare, and eCommerce industries. VigiTrust solutions allow clients and partners to prepare for, validate, and maintain compliance with legal and industry frameworks and regulations on data privacy, information governance, and compliance.

The main aim of this project was to create a decision support tool for VigiTrust (i.e., automated workflow support), aiming to support workflow management by predicting the most likely path for assisting merchants and service providers to validate compliance with multiple information security and data protection standards and regulations. The technology roadmap developed for VigiTrust by the IVI research team defined the main phases for developing an AI solution to support decision-making processes. This technology roadmap comprised the main AI phases, the set of technologies involved, and the required expertise.

This collaboration will now develop on to a second innovation voucher amd will consider the development of the data preparation and model building and training of the proposed AI solution. It will include the development of a proof of concept to help VigiTrust advance the construction of the AI solution according to its requirements (e.g., UX requirements).

“VigiTrust is delighted to have engaged with IVI for its AI project. This is the first phase of a three step process thanks to an Enterprise Ireland innovation voucher. The expertise of the IVI team is invaluable to ensuring that VigiTrust can build the AI engine for compliance it has conceptually designed. We are already looking forward to the next two phases.” Mathieu Gorge, VigiTrust
