Over the past several months, we at IVI have been working hard to share the fruits of our research efforts with our community of users and IT management professionals. Our monthly webinar series has been growing in popularity since the beginning of the year and we are happy to share our achievements and plans for the future.
Our quarterly refresh cycle has already seen two iterations of IT-CMF launched – the Spring Release on 1 February and the Summer Release on 1 May. Further development and releases are scheduled for the Autumn and Winter quarters. So far this year, we have launched ten new or updated Critical Capabilities and two brand new Effectiveness Assessments in the areas of Cybersecurity and DevOps.
Monthly webinars
To complement these launches, we have also been running a series of regular hour-long webinars. There have been two types of webinar: a general introduction to IT-CMF; and more specific webinars that focus on particular capability areas.
The general introduction is aimed at IT management professionals who are new to the IT-CMF or exploring options for their organisation. In this webinar, we outline how the IT-CMF is structured, and how it aligns IT with Business strategy. We also show how our academic and industry-based research supports the ongoing development of IT-CMF in the digital age.
Each CC-focused webinar gives participants a unique opportunity to hear directly from the lead researchers involved in leading the development of the CC. The key drivers for (re)developing the CCs are outlined, along with an overview of the revised CC. We also discuss how these materials address the challenges of managing this aspect of IT in the digital age. Participants also have a chance to ask their own questions about the capability area and IT-CMF.
Never miss another webinar!
Ensure that you don’t miss out on your opportunity to be among the first to find out what’s new with the IT-CMF. There are several ways to keep up to date with our webinar schedule. You can sign up to our monthly Newsletter, follow us on Twitter, or join the IVI Global Community of IT management professionals on LinkedIn.
We run each webinar twice so that we can reach the widest possible audience. Tuesdays’ sessions run in the afternoon to facilitate European and US participants. Thursday’s sessions are in the morning to enable European and Australasian audiences.
Don’t worry if you’ve missed a topic you’re interested in – you can access an archived version of our previous webinars from our website, or through the IVI YouTube channel. The schedule of upcoming webinars is also available from our website.
Registration and attendance for our webinars is FREE of charge. We look forward to welcoming you to one of our upcoming events.
